Panic Disorder

Can be characterized by debilitating fear or discomfort along with any number of physical symptoms including increased heart rate, shortness of breath, and chest pain.
Often mistaken for a heart attack, people with panic disorder worry constantly about when they will have another panic attack, sometimes changing what they do to avoid the possibility of having another attack.
This disorder can be accompanied by agoraphobia, or a fear of being out in open spaces (for fear of having another panic attack).
